Aim and scope

Pediatric Respiratory Journal is the official journal of the Italian Pediatric Respiratory Society (Società Italiana per le Malattie Respiratorie InfantiliSIMRI) designed to promote understanding and advance the treatment of respiratory diseases in children.
It publishes quarterly rigorously peer-reviewed articles in English. Indeed, the Journal provides online free and open access to all of its research publication, under the terms of the Creative Commons License, type CC BY-NC (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial License).

PRJ welcomes submissions of the following article types: original contributions on translational, clinical, and epidemiologic research, and case reports, on the most common acute and chronic respiratory illnesses, as well the genetic and rare diseases of children.

The Journal emphasizes the developmental implications of the epidemiological, morphological, physiological, pharmacological, and sociological components of these conditions, as well as the impact of disease processes on families and the future perspective in pediatric respiratory medicine.
